Designer Mandira Wirk’s Creation at BPFT

Mandira Wirk unveiled her beautiful  bridal collection at the grand finale of the 8th Edition of Blenders Pride Fashion Tour (BPFT), 2012 in Kolkata on September 23. After the Aamby Valley Bridal Fashion Week, it’s now the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2012 that’s in news. The fashion tour that started on September 15 in Chandigarh will come to an end on November 4 in Mumbai.

It’s a 50 day journey with 13 top notch fashion designers participating in the fashion event that includes names like – Nandita Mahtani, Neeta Lulla, Mandira Wirk, Raghavendra Rathore, Falguni & Shane Peacock, Shantanu & Nikhil, Vikram Phadnis and Wendell Rodricks to name a few. For the grand finale on September 23, Mandira Wirk showcased her creations and it was actress Yami Gautam, who walked the ramp for her.

Yami dazzled the ramp in a bridal wear. Mandira’s creations were inspired by the English Bride called “Veils – Unveiled”. From ivory with muted silver to very powdery hues of aqua, lilac, lemon, peach and pink in different shades, the colours seem to be just perfect for the beautiful gowns and minis with the perfect hint of sparkle.

I’m impressed, I have to say. Genuinely rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your concept is outstanding. I am fairly happy that I stumbled across this blog in my search for something relating to this.
