Survey: Salman Khan is the ‘Most Ideal Celebrity Father Figure’

A blend of Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ image and his big hearted gestures, makes him a ‘Perfect Father Figure’, according to the latest  Shaadi.com Survey which asked the Indian youth  who they feel would make an Ideal Indian Celebrity Father. Salman Khan led the survey with 39.9% of respondents suggesting that he would make the most ideal father. The poll was conducted on the occasion of Father’s Day in June and received responses from over 9,820 Shaadi.com members across India.

Amongst the poll options, the survey reveals that India wants to see the actor take on a new role in real life and settle down with a family. Not too far behind Salman, was the charismatic Congressman, Rahul Gandhi with 31% votes. Other contenders in the survey included names like Ranbir Kapoor, Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli who got the least number of votes (12.5%, 9.2% and 7.4% respectively) suggesting that they are still considered eligible bachelors and are not yet ready to take on fatherhood.
