2 Months Before
Finalize the ceremony selections with the help of your family members. You could either mail or courier the invitations to your friends who are not from the same city as your’s. Also, look for a hair stylist and make-up artist. Before you book them, do ask for a trial session.
6 Weeks Before
By now, you need to finalize on your Wedding outfit, footwear and other accessories. Book your appointment with the make-up artist and hair stylist. Keep all the wedding-reception stationery ready.
2 Weeks Before
Try your wedding outift, just to make sure the fit is still perfect. Also, catch up with the photographer and discuss the event. Tell him what kind of pictures you want, so that he can prepare himself. Also, give a list of songs you want the DJ to play for the reception and during the cake-cutting. Don’t forget to send a reminder mail to all your friends and relatives asking them to be free for your wedding.
1 Week Before
By now you will know who many people are actually going to turn up for your Wedding. So give the final head count to the hotel and caterers. Finalize the seating arrangement. Give last-minute requests to vendors and most important, visit a salon and get your waxing and facial done.
2 Days Before
This is the right time to assign tasks to all your family members. Put all vendor tips in seperate envelopes and keep one person in charge of all the gifts and envelopes at the time of your reception. If you’ve planned a spinsters party for your friends, you can plan this a day or two in advance.
